So I am getting ready to replace the rear factory locker in my Rubicon. I have decided to go with an E-locker but cant get a straight answer as to which part # or install kit to use.
I have 4.88 Rubicon gears which are the thick style gear. Quadratec and 4wd tell me that I have to change my ring and pinion to a std d44 to use an e-locker.
I have attempted to contact Eaton, but have not received a reply.
I thought when using rubicon gears you use the lower break point carrier ( 3.73 and down) and a std d44 install kit. Am I not correct.
