This is a well beaten thread. Use of the search feature would show the following:

Rubicons

Front Diff. =40 oz.

Rear Diff. =60 oz.

Rubicons do not need limited slip additive (Friction modifier).

Hope that helps.

Re: More Diff information

BOB you should re-read the very posting within the Thread before offering your PENNY's worth of info. I already stated that this isn't new information, but thought someone might want to see what Mitchell DIY stated in there repair manual's. The clipping is talking about MOPAR Gear Oil and MOPAR Gear Oil does not contain the Trac-Lok additive.

This is a clipping out of the 04 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon repair manually.
You already said that. And manuals are always correct.

Rubicons don't have Trac-loc, they have Tru-loc. Check out this thread:

There are many other threads that have this info and more.

IN addition I never stated that the Dana 44 required Trac-Lok... you really should re-read the above posting. The clipping states NOTE: Wtih Trac-Lok add 4 oz.

Do you see me saying anything about... MUST ADD TRAC-LOK? LoL stop cluttering this thread.
Touchy aren't you? BTW, yelling makes your post more accurate too. I'll be sure not to step on your tender toes in the future.
