So the engine runs fine until it's under a good load?

Idea #1 - I would get a scan tool that can record in real time all of the PIDs and start recording when you start up that grade.

Idea #2 - install your original OPDA

Idea #3 - check for plugged cats like Frank suggested

Idea #4 - (my personal favorite) - repower

You have all this time and money invested. If it was mine I would have the dealer set it just to make sure it is dead on.
Roger that! I watched our Jeep dealer set mine, the adjustment is very, very sensitive. Just tightening the bolt might alter the degree reading a little.

...I will gently bring her home and change out the oil pump. Fingers are crossed that the Rubicon will now be the tough dependable beast she is suppose to be.
I wouldn't change out anything to disturb the environment. See if the dealer's fix is really a fix first.

Also file a complaint with the BBB - even if they aren't a member BBB will still record your issue with the business. If you go on social media, a couple of tips for you since some businesses have been known to file a suit for slander, etc. for on-line disparaging reports. Stick strictly to the facts of the situation and don't 'color' your report with assumptions and disparaging remarks and other comments about the business.

There can be no slander if you state the truth. In an extreme case, a business might still attempt to intimidate a reviewer by filing a suit anyway but there is zero chance of them prevailing because you stated the facts of the situation. Just a head's up for you. (Too bad the business won't do the right thing.)
