Did a quick search and didn't see anything related so:
In the process of removing the rear axle to install my lift. In the factory service manual for bleeding ABS brakes, it states that you do a manual bleed procedure and then you have to bleed the HCU using a DRB scan tool to operate the HCU relays to purge air out of the HCU unit. Is this second part necessary if I am disconnecting the brakes lines and not removing the master cylinder? I am also installing the Vanco front brake upgrade during this process. Thanks in advance.
