Xenon Fender flares

2443 Views 10 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Mopar Fan
This is my first post to this blog site, and I'm hoping someone can help me. I was looking at the Xenon fender flares for my 05' unlimited rubi. The product picture is of a green lj; does anyone know what size tires are pictured? 35's ? 37's ? They seem to fit the rig perfectly.
Is anyone running the xenon flat fender flares?

Thanks,
Brian

Can you find the picture?

This is not it but the rig has 2.5 Old Man Emu suspension, 35" BFG KM2'S, Crager soft 8's 4"BS, Xenon fat flares

Brian,

The trick to posting pictures is to use the Image tags of

It looks like a 4" skyjacker springs based on the red spring, ACOS adjustable and 35x12.5 but is hard to tell with that angle.

Thanks,
That helps, Im glad you pointed out the adjustable puck lifts - I didn't notice those. How do you like your fenders? alot of rocks being thrown up/around? Did they come black or grey? Sturdy? Worth the money? A lot of questions, I know, just want to make sure its the right fender and tire combo for me.

I found that picture here so you would need to PM 4LowNGo.

You can post pics on this forum if you're a member by checking out this link:

IIRC you can post as a non-member by using a third party server like photo bucket and the
as suggested above.
Otherwise you'll need to have someone post the pics for you.

I'm sure that if I'm wrong someone will correct me, but I hope that helps you avoid the frustrations I had with trying to figure it out.

http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Xe...ung 4-link rear and Currie J-arms all around.
I have the 6'' Xenon flats they come in black I painted mine. I love them I have a 2 1/4'' bb and a 1 1/4''bl and am running 35's with no issues good luck in your build.
Thanks for all the help. "mopar fan", where did you find the info on the green promo jeep? I am looking to build up my 05 rubi' unlimited with a RE short arm, 1" body lift, 4.88s (with 35's) - I understand the lift on the green lj is extensive and expensive, but would my set up work fairly well with the 37's? I am stuck on those fenders, and dont want too much dead space in the wheel well.
I understand that a LA set up would be ideal for the build, but I can't justify the cost of the lift, shocks, and labor. This will be my DD for quite a while until I get a gas beater, but I plan to use it on some fairly decent trails, nothing too crazy.

let me know what you think?

I looked over the Jeep in person a while back just after it was built by Currie. It's changed a little since then, but nothing drastic.

I would recommend the Currie 4" suspension, over the RE. Although 37s will work with either setup, they will likely require some minor trimming of the rear wheel wells. In addition you will lose some up-travel compared to the 35s.
