Just purchased my 2006 Rubicon about 7 months ago the orginail owner did the TBS OPDA (Oil pump drive assembly) at 70,000 and again at 140,000 not sure why the second time but he did not keep the original Camshaft position sensor.. I just got a p0340 code recently replaced sensor with a crown camshaft sensor with no issues and code went away, but from what I’ve been reading this maybe a issue I’ll have to address again with after market sensors. I’m preparing to do the Rubicon trail part of my spare part gear is a coupled camshaft sensors and and a crown oil pump drive assembly. I want to illuminate this issue with OEM Camshaft Position Sensor of course the part has been discontinued.
