Would you like Trxus MT tall skinny and tall medium sizes?

Would you like Trxus MT available in new tall skinny and tall medium sizes? Vote what you want in this thread and Interco will consider making it.

No, I do NOT work for Interco. I'm a 4x4 owner who wants a better size selection of tall skinny, and tall medium size tires, and I like Trxus MT. So I contacted Interco about this.

I talked to a Interco senior employee about this. He said if there is sufficient interest, he'd bring the topic before Interco's management for serious consideration. He said there is a good chance the new sizes will get made, as long as they can be based on existing molds.

He suggested I start a thread about it and ask others to vote/post the 2 sizes (and load ratings) they want most.

I was told by the fellow at Interco that any new sizes would have to be based on existing molds, and therefore would have to be based on existing widths, but those existing widths can be made in new heights.

Since they have existing molds for 10.1, 10.5, 10.8, and 11.2 inch section width tires, it is possible to have new heights based on those widths.

These sizes already exist: 31 X 10.8 R15C, 32 X 10.5 R16D (265/75R16), and 33 X 10.1 R16D (255/85R16D). So I didn't include them in poll choices.

Which of the possible NEW sizes of Trxus MT interest you? Which would you want to use on your 4X4? Please vote in poll for the new size of Trxus MT you want.

===

The same, or similar, sizes in R17 as listed for R16 are possible. I personally have no interest in R17, but Interco said if they make new sizes, most new sizes would be made in R15, R16, and R17.

There isn't room in the poll for me to include R17. If you want R17 sizes, please post the R17 size(s) you want, including load rating you want.

===

The sizes in the poll do not exist yet, but they will exist if enough people vote/post about wanting them.

===

Interco will be reading and reviewing this thread at some future time, and paying close attention to the size(s) and load ratings you request. The most popular/frequent requests are most likely to get made.

While I don't currently run the Truxxs, I am a big fan of tall/skinnies. I voted for the 34 and 35 x 10's in E rating as there just aren't enough options in this size. Like you, I have no need for a 17" rim, so 16" is great with me. Allows me to keep the factory Moabs which are a great wheel in their own right, without issue. Not saying I'll buy a set right now, but the option to be there would be nice. Others may pick up as well, which would be even better. Thanks for doing this.

Best of Luck,

Mike
Thanks guys, the more votes and or posts the better, because the more interest, the more likely Interco will make the most requested sizes.

This is a popularity contest between sizes. I don't think Interco will make all the sizes I put in OP, but I do think they'll make the most popularly requested sizes. Your votes and posts will be a big factor in which sizes get made.

Please mention this thread to anyone you know who has an interest in tall skinny or tall medium width MT and hybrid (AT/MT crossbreed) tires so we can get more participation, so we can get the most requested sizes.

Thank you for your time.
voted....now post. voted 35's in 15 inch...load range c and 16 inch load range d

when they stock them in rayne, i will run over and pick some up
I'd like to see a 36" for 15" rims, but that wasn't on your list. A 36x12 would be perfect...
Due to popular demand at another forum (that has lots of full size SUVs) I'm adding these additional size choices.

The poll won't accept more options/choices, but I'll post them here. If you want one of these, please post saying you want it. I'll submit the poll and posts to Interco at beginning of February. Thanks.

OK. Thanks for your input. I'll make sure they see that. There are several people asking for (at other forums) 36 X 11.2 R15 and R16. I forgot to include those choices in the poll here. Would a 36 X 11.2 work for you, or do you want it 12" wide?

There has also been (at other forums) a few requests for 36 X 12.5 R15 and R16, but most of the 36 requests have been for 36 X 11.2 wide, which makes sense to me, because a 11.2 would be easier to fit and clear, and be a lot lighter, than 12.5.

A 36x11.2 would work. I was just thinking something a little narrower than the usual 12.5" width...
Thanks wsm04rubi
