why?

Why do people do this? The best part is the dealer says the bumpers are body armor and they look to be smittybuilt. Also the interior is color coded.... I love when they have no idea what they are selling....

This is an electric lime green rubi unlimited that has been destroyed.... :barf:

Ehhh, I've seen way worse. An odd choice of colors but the top is what makes it look really weird.
At least it's lifted and not slammed.

That is true, that paint job just looks bad.....
They sure got happy with the undercarriage repaint.
Actually not a bad asking price for a LJ Rubi. Replace the bumpers and paint i back to solid lime green.

It's already got corner armor with rub rails, rock sliders, flat fenders and LED rear lights.

Real question is how beat was it before corner armor and paint job.
The only thing I really hate is the paint job on the hood. I wouldn't have picked that bright orange to contrast the green but other than the weird paint, seems like a decent jeep to me.
It may be ugly to some, but it appears to have a few worthwhile parts.

X2. The rear seat floor area pic makes it look well used/abused, whats the armor hiding?

That was my thought. Something just doesn't seem right about it....
Seems like a decent build, tummy tuck, RE 3" lift 33s , adjustable track bar, some body armor, tube fenders. Not sure I like the original side markers on the hood though....

The orange is decent, loose the top and the wheels and tires - black top, 35s and black out the centers of the wheels and somone has decent Unlimited. it would be a good ride - better than 90% on the road it looks to me
That Jeep has a lot going for it - hand made Rokmen parts all over it, recessed LED tail lights, Old Man Emu shocks - a lot of good stuff.

Looks like Rubicon Express control arms - eh...

Paint is the last thing I look at - bright colors, chrome wheels, khaki top - WHO CARES?

That Jeep will perform on the trail.

$17,500 is a good deal for an LJ with an auto if you want those mods (I do!), but the question is how hard was it driven/beaten?

Does not look too bad underneath.

A few scratches and dings but nothing drastic.

Looks like a Krylon Kustom to me! And, I don't think the Jeep was what got drove hard...
Nothing wrong with that Jeep that a dozen cans of Rustoleum can't fix. :rotflmao:
Well, it was gone over with a fine tooth comb with the goal of covering and polishing up any previous use or abuse.

Those gas tank skid ribs look bent and dented.
They weren't bashed on the rocks like many of yours around here are but it was driven on the trail a good deal.

I'd pay close attention to how the automatic transmission shifts, how smoothly it goes into and out of 4 high and 4 low, and
how well the lockers engage and disengage.

Its a sad day when a Jeep is made to wear clown clothes.
missing items:

hard top and hood decals. :lildevil: :lildevil:

(it had a hard top, because I can see the rear window wiper switch. :) )
