the big issue with Cast wheel spacers are how homogenous the casting is. at High RPMs the casting can break leading to catastrophic failure. Aluminum is better than cast iron though. I also do not like how they are not hub centric and how big the holes are. Will they shift and throw off balance. Just my thoughts as I have no experience with these.

And tire shops like Discount Tire will not work on a vehicle with non hub centric spacers.

My experience is they will not work on any wheel spacers. I have to remove and install the tires for them to balance them both here in Texas and previously in Michigan and I had hub centric machined aluminum spacers.

My experience too except this last time they worked with them and even informed me one wasn’t torqued correctly.

I was never a fan of wheel spacers because if you need to pull an axle on the trail, the spacer of course has to be pulled. And the wheel studs are supposed to have red Locktite which need heat to remove.

You are correct, every spacer instruction that I've read required red loctite. I've been using blue loctite without issues. Initially I re-checked the torque several times and after the first check or 2 there haven't been any loosening
