Im looking at a set of bushwacker fender flares that are used and the guy has them listed for tj and lj. I Have an lj which i recently added 33x1250's that stick out about an inch or 2. I need to cover this up before i take it overseas and damn are the aftermarket fenders pricey. They are 6.5" which i think will work great. They are close so going to check them out isnt a problem just want to know how big of a difference between the tj and lj fenders before i go and even bother wasting my time. Help me figure this out please.

The factory flares for the TJ/LJ were the same except for Rubicon flares. The Rubi flares are wider than stock standard flares on the TJ/LJ. The wheel well isnt bigger, the flare is wider to cover more tire.

Is this what you are wondering?
Rubicon & Sahara flares are 3/4" wider than Sport or X flares. If I remember correctly 3.25" v. 4.0"
I know the rubi's are wider, I was refering to the wheel well opening on the rear. So from what you all are saying the 6.5" should work.

The tire openings are exactly the same so yes, the 6.5" width should work to cover your tires.
