What size front rotors

I have a 2016 JKUR, and am going to replace the front rotors. The parts books refer to 302mm and 332mm diameters. I can take off a wheel and measure, but since I am ordering the rotors it would make it nice to know which ones I should order so I only have to remove the wheel one time.

I was able to stretch a tape measure 1/2 way around the rotor, got a measurement of 510mm, so that times 2 gave a circumference of 1020mm divided by Pii (3.142) gave a diameter of 324 mm. The tape rested on the fins of the rotor, and the outside rim is slightly above the fins, so I am pretty sure I have the 332mm rotors. So that is what I ordered. All the online parts stores are very unclear about which size rotors to order, I did go to the dealer and the parts guy took the VIN number and gave me the part number of the MOPAR rotor which coincided with the 332 mm size. Of course, they did not have them in stock, plus I didn't want to pay double the price at the dealership.

I did the Dynotrac big rotor kit which allows you to use the factory calibers. You don't even need to bleed the brakes after the install. They are really amazing. 13.5" front rotors and 14" rear. The stopping is hugely improved on my 35" tires.

I think some outfits make improved calibers for the stock JK brake system now as well. That would make the kit even better. I like the idea of improved pads such as Black Magic pads also.

Well, I thought I better do a final report on this project. The rotors I ordered came in and, of course, they were the wrong size. Turns out all my fancy math work was for nought as I needed 302mm, not 332mm rotors. Going through the parts books, I could no discern any stock 2016 Jeeps that would need the 332mm rotors. Anyway, I ended up getting the right ones and the installation went very well. And, was able to return the wrong ones for refund.
