This is a stainless steel rear tire carrier rack, I used it on my '04 Rubi for years, but that rig is long gone. I need to get this out of my garage! The mount bolts between the spare and the rear tire carrier, and exends through the center hole of the wheel. The rack slides in and is adjustable for the width of the tire. Gets the ice chest out of the back of the Jeep. Needs a good tire carrier to hold the increased weight, not recommended to mount on the stock tire carrier. Free to a good home. Sometimes you really just have to be creative ! nice work mate! for me I still use my rack but I still place some rope around it just for more security.
