Guys and Gals,

This is an open invite to a joint club run coming up in Sumpter, OR. I will be attending with quite a few local, to me, rigs. Here is the info on the run. Please chime in here on ROF if you are interested. It would be great to meet some ROFers!!!!

I'll be there...in thought. Didn't we just talk about Wallowa Lake? Huh? And you gave me a hard time about it. Sheesh!
RDL.... I already told you there is NO WAY we are gonna be alone in the woods together!!!!
It shows over 2 days but looks like the run is one day? Would they be starting near Baker City. Was thinking about hitting a motel there Friday night. Is there a run on Sunday? If not, any good fly fishing rivers in the area?
Checking the calender. We were actually thinking to going over to eastern Oregon and taking Hat Point Rd. overlook to Hell's Canyon sometime this month. I've been to Baker City and took the road over Elkhorn Ridge down the other side. It is a beautiful drive.

edit for correction.

I'm pretty sure the large run is on the 23rd. I don't know exactly what is being planned for the 24th, I'll look into it.

There is an OHV park called Virtue Flat that is about 10 minutes from Baker City. You might consider wheeling there on Sunday.
Is this still going to happen. I would like more info. Need to look for lodging soon in Baker City.
How doable is the route with the Jeep in my specs (see sig).

I don't mind some mild rock crawling, but stuff (like crawling over huge builders, etc) that risks getting hung up on control arms mounts or body mounts is a little much for me or my Jeep. more details would be great so I can decide if this is something I want to tackle or not.
Yes the run is still on. There are more plans now too. Looks like it will do the Sumpter run on saturday and Virtue Flats Off Road Park on sunday. I will be there for both days. There is a link in my first post for trail info and lodging.

Trail wise, they said a winch is a must at first. Now its...... there may be a slippery hill climb at worst. That is for the Sumpter run on saturday. Virtue Flats is a little different. Its mostly sand wash with rocks here and there. There are pics in the thread I linked.

If you have any questions please feel free to call me.
