sponsorships

870 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Okies
I have decided to do a "adventure rally" theme with my Jeep. I thought to myself the other day it needed some kind of theme and thats what I decided on. I am going to do decals on the doors with some kind of fictitous rally name and a number. My question is sponsorships. I would like to put sponsor decals on my Jeep, but would like to actually have real sponsors. Anyone have sponsors? What are some tips to get them? Any help would be much appreciated.

The best way is to win a few and let the sponsors come to you.

What can you offer a sponsor? Do you believe in that sponsors product, can you sale it?

Bottom line as a sponsor.... Will it make me money?

I have some generous and loyal sponsors when I host my annual fund raisers. It's for a meaningful cause and all proceeds and product goes to the cause.

The top dogs get Nike and Viagra... LOL
Are you looking at just doing a "theme" type build, for your everyday rig? or a build up, then enter some sort of rally(s)?

Right now just a "theme" type build. It will be offroaded and it will attend a bunch of the car shows in my area (it already does). I also live in a huge tourist/vacation spot, so the exposure is really good. I really am just looking for some tips to getting sponsors or seeing if anyone has any. I am going to try a few local places to start and see how that goes.

I have thought about an adventure rally theme in my head and I think it will be a neat and different idea.
It would just be nice to have real sponsors. I'm not looking for a ton of money or free stuff, just a little something to make it worth my while to put the logo on the Jeep.
The best advice is to stay on them....emails and phone calls daily...sometimes twice per day. If they say "no" just don't accept their answer....be persistent. Tell them you'll take lots of pictures. Start with OKIES.

Wouldn't that be harassment punishable with 3-5 yrs behind bars with bubba?
