Some Problems after I installed a 3.5 Super-Flex kit

I am going to buy the adjustable front track bar but I have a few questions that I am waiting to get answered from rubiconexpress. Any help would be greatly appreciated

1. when I go over 40 and hit a bump the jeep violently shakes right to left unti I stop

2. the steering is like a boat, very loose, a lot of play

3. the steering wheel is not straight when the tires are straight

4. both fron tires are wearing out on the outside half of the tires.

What do you think?

1. make sure front track bar is tightened solid at both ends.
2. not sure
3. adjust with your drag link
4. have you had it aligned since installing lift? sounds like camber
I second blkrubi05!

Make sure all steering nuts are tight. REALLY ensure that the track bar fasteners are tight! and get it to an alignment shop, a GOOD one which I know is hard to tell. But there are some shops that know what they are doing and know how to adjust things on your jeep... not all shops are created equal. I think a really good total alignment will fix a majority of these issues.
The trackbar is loose, causing your death wobble and wander.

Your toe in is to tight because of not aligning after the lift causing tire wear.

And your draglink is not adjusted to center your wheel after lifting.

Tighten the track bar

Set the toe

Adjust the draglink to center the wheel

That order.

Thanks for all the help

X2! Most likely any wobble is loose track bar, tighten that biatch up.
There is no camber adj. Caster adj with the 3.5 SF can only be made with cam bolts for the control arms (I wouldn't do them). Set the toe and if your steering wheel returns to center when you let go of it you're probably OK with caster.
If you want to buy a new RE adj trackbar, pn RE1600, let me know. I bought the extreme duty one when I installed my 4.5 SF and still have the trackbar that came with the kit.

1. You dont not have your toe and or caster set properly.
2. once you set your caster and toe this will change
3. once you set your toe and caster you can straighten your steering wheel up by adjusting the draglink.
4. Adjust your toe.

Use this link it has lots of good info

To find your caster, take an angle finder and place it on top of the upper ball joint. You want this to read around 5.
The caster doesnt really matter on a lift that size. It doesnt change enough to warrant attention, and its not adjustable with that lift anyways.
