Hey ROF,



I ordered five of these for my cousins and even though Tuffy claimed this would work on an 05 TJ, it did not fit mine due to the fold and slide seat mount. Why in the world, would Chrysler put a bar right across the seat, I will not understand.


If anyone is interested, this costs $100, I only have 1 and want local only. All I am trying to do is say you the 5 day wait from a vendor and the shipping fee.

This will fit:

97-02 Jeep TJ with fold and tumble seat
03-06 Jeep TJ with fold only seat (no tumble or slide)

I only opened it to take pictures.

Greg, why not just return them.... they came falsely advertised. Any decent company should refund in full, including shipping.

Damn, I was really looking into this for my 05....thanks for the heads up. Any way to cut out the bar Chrysler put in or re-engineer it?

They make a smaller box that is 8"x ~8" that goes up to that bar. I had the plasma plugged in last night but I have to figure out why they installed it first. 8)
