Re: Skid Row engine skid

How difficult is it to change the oil with that little opening?

Changing the oil is not an issue... the hole is close enough to the drain plug. Any spillage just goes toward rust proofing the skid ;)

What he said. :) LOL

It was never an issue. I hit the opening opposite the drain with a 2" piece of painter's tape to keep spillage to a minimum...but it pretty much flowed right out without a mess.

Opening on the Skid Row measures 4" x 3 1/2". For comparison, the opening in my Rokmen skid is 6" x 1 3/4".

Close up of oil drain w/ aforementioned scrapes:

Re: Skid Row engine skid - Price drop

Dropped the asking price to $150.

Trying to clear out some space in the garage.
