Shawna's first comp! Other videos up now

Shawna had her first competition this weekend. Just a local one. Was the Idaho Off-Road Fun Krawl. She did great for being as nervous as she was. Her rig was the only street legal on in the class she was in, 37s plus. She got to within 40 feet of the finish and popped a bead. She'll get the boys next time.

A juggy on at least 42s in her class flopped hard.

Justin, one of my employees, won the mild class for 35s and under. He ended up with an almost perfect run. Had one backup and that was it. He should have listened to the spotter. :lildevil: I'll get his video up tomorrow along with the flop recoveries.

Re: Shawna's first comp!

Looks like she did a GREAT job, Congrats! Dumb question but would she have timed out re-seating it? A quick shot of Co2 and she could have possibly beat the boys...

Again, Congrats, she did a great job!

Best of Luck,

Mike
Re: Shawna's first comp!

Thanks Mike, I'll tell her. She did time out trying to re-seat.
She did great, Josh! Out of curiosity, where is her harness anchored at in the rear? I'm running the same ones but, over top of a RH cross bar and I hate the set up. Her's looks to work really well.

The are tied into the cage base in the rear corner of the tub. With the back seat in they just clear the corners of it.
She did a great job despite your "This way, That way, spotting" but I did hear a few "turn driver" thrown in there :D
Lots of rocks to get tripped up on in there..
Sometimes her codec doesn't do driver, passenger commands. This way, that way and WTF are you doing work 90% of the time. :lildevil:

We walked it before she went and I let her pick her own lines. I did my best to keep her on them.

Great, thanks!

and I have to agree with Don_TLR on the spotting but, I thought that it may be a "left of the big muddy" thing.

Okay, now I see your post after Don's and understand.
