Looking how to route wires to power a 12v air compressor from battery to the right rear cargo area of an LJ.

Experiences, suggestions?

Thx

My ham radio comes straight off the battery. Other things are routed into an auxiliary fuse box made out of a plastic Craftsman tool box sitting on the air cleaner. I’ll take some pics tomorrow.

What size air compressor is it? (amp requirements)
Is it going to be hard wired or plug in? (power outlet)

I think there should be power available on the LEFT hand side for a rear window wiper and defroster.
Depending on your power needs the defroster circuit may be adequate.

I ran mine battery direct, 10ga wire and routed it through one of the firewall grommets next to the steering wheel. Wire followed the wiring harness to the back. It’s underneath the lip where the top mounts.
Make sure you fuse it.
