So this recurring butthole keeps taking my change out of my jeep, right? The first time I had a center console (stock) with a Tuffy insert, they tore up the console but couldnt get it open and took all the change out of the cup holders. I was impressed to see the Tuffy in action but I removed the whole console cause it was mangled good. The next time they took my tire iron and a few other tools I had in the door and my change. So now this homeless crackhead took my ashtray and my change. Does anyone have an (agate) ashtray they may want to donate to the cause so I dont have to spend money on a new one?

wait a sec... your jeep has an ashtray?... er, had? I'd say plant a cup full of pennies in plain sight and wait for him to come by... then... :dhorse:

The ashtray is on the center bezel. Just hoping someone had one in the junk box. Been checking the junk yard too. Haha, yeah I'll plant a decoy then put the fear of God in him or her...

Superglue fishhooks to the inner lip of your cupholders and fill with pennies so the hooks are covered. Get some popcorn and wait.

You seriously have an ash tray? All I have is this crappy plastic box that doesn't do anything... pics please?

Love the fish hook idea. Except why not fish them through the backside of the rubber insert with pliers? That way when ur done all you have to do is cut the barbed side off and back them out. Love It...Love It...Love It!!!

Just dump your change on the ground when you get out. It'll sure be cheaper.

just toss a couple of trebble hooks in the cupholder. Its not your fault if he gets one stabbed in his finger. And, its not criminal intent

Ya don't need to worry about criminal-- it's the civil suit that will get you!

OP, do not do anything that will injure the criminal. Even if they break into your house and get a paper-cut, you can be sued.

Ya, being a retired cop absolutely means I hate that kind of sh:; but it is real.. Hide in the vehicle with a BIG gun. As they break in they get shot----fear of bodily harm.

OP, do not do anything that will injure the criminal. Even if they break into your house and get a paper-cut, you can be sued.

And that my friend is why Texas is such a great state! While parked at your home, your vehicle is an extension of you home and are allowed to defend it as such! Hell, you can kill a guy for trying to steal you neighbors vehicle!

That is awesome... I seriously believe shooting someone for stealing should be acceptable. Natural selection with a modern twist

Same thing here in KY. No more shooting them halfway in the window and dragging them the rest of the way in!

Yes I have an ashtray, its a 00 TJ that its out of. Stingers right, people will just about sue you for anything. Im working on putting a sensor downstairs so itll trip a silent alarm upstairs, then my compact 45 will do all the rest of the talking. Ill give an ultimatum, leave and dont come back or get a limb blow off with this here gun. Intimidation with a big ass gun should do the trick.

until he calls the cops on you for brandishing a weapon. unfortunately the best option is to stop leaving things of interest in the jeep, or start securing things so they are unattainable like when they were in the tuffy
