Most of my career at AT&T was in corporate IT as a salaried staff guy and I administered our group's NT server and did some desktop support as a favor to our group. I'm the webmaster for three websites and I'm not getting what this is all about. I know what support is telling us about SSL (or https) but why some of us are having problems and some not does not compute. My suspicion is the problem is more complex than we are led to believe.

I'm going to try to collect some user data about those that are having problems in THIS thread.

Hey folks,

The Likes received issue is still on going. For now, go to your profile page and click "Likes Received" in the Mini Statistics panel.

As for the image issues, please provide a link / screenshots + Browser/OS for the issues and we'll investigate.

PC geek volunteer needed for an experiment

Need a PC geek to try something for this image viewing problem. I'm running an older version of Firefox (55.something) and I have no image view problem, what I would like somebody who can't see some images to try is to remove their current Firefox and install version 54.0.1 and see what happens.

Be sure and save your bookmarks and profile or just use another PC running Windows that you can experiment with.

This sounds more like a sync issue then anything else.

Can I get links to the threads where some people see an image and others don't?

There other issue with images is cookies and cache, if the image is from a third party that is not SSL then it would not show up, but if you have the file path cached from before, it may still show for you.

So many variables. So Lets start with a link to an image someone cant see but others can.

Don't think we've any more trouble reports since the techs diddled with something on the back end.

Guys - anybody still having problems with ROF?

If I want to look at somebody's post with pictures I have to click on a long yellow box at the bottom that says, only secure content is shown. Sometimes it works and I can see the pictures. Not too swift on these, so take it easy on me. Thanks

Hi there,

Unfortunately, this is an Internet Explorer feature and something we have no control over. It's there HTTPS security protocols that are causing the message to show. The only way to stop seeing that message is to change to a different browser.
