Looks like a good advertisement for the Alumi-flex. Ouch, looks like a little time is needed with the welder. Hmmm... You could box the body mount brackets, leave a hole to extract the bolt out, and maybe run a slider between them. Then again just thoughts.

WHO NEEDS A SKID PLATE, LIFT AND TIRES

GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES
Fun by one and all. Good too meet you guys, can't wait til the next trip. Learned alot. Will post my pics when I can. Got the same fender as Elff, but was just adding to previous damage. Dragged the stock Rubi through almost the same trails as everyone else (left early couldn't stay). Medics picture shows what the stock skidplate looked like after 2 months of ownership.

JerryC,

That edit is hilarious. Did you get it fixed yet??

Medic- OUCH when did that happen? I think that damage is a perfect example of why I like the 1 piece design of the Daystar body lift. The part that touches the body, is the original metal from the stock body mounts.

OK-Unsolicitated plug
-------------------------
Medics T-Case and engine skid is AMAZING
The quality and mounting was top quality. After seeing the engine skid. I will be purchasing one when Medic has all the RE LA measurements ironed out. For anyone not running a long arm kit, I highly suggest getting both and you will still pay less money than for an Nth Degree.

And now for my Sat trail awards.
I nominate Jim Smith [a non rubicon owner and half of the day trail guide]
for best samaritan
and I nominate rescue2emtp for the Drive it like You stole it award.
Here is Jim helping rescue2emtp get over a rock that he was stuck on.
This rescue required a tow strap in the front, rocks under both rear tires and almost 3 feet of Hi-lift

As Sean would say
This is what it is ALL ABOOOT.

It was fun meeting everyone I had a blast.

elff:

Yes, it's fixed temporarily, and it will be fixed permanently week after next when I get back from Denver.

medic's skid looks terrific. Decisions, decisions...

Jim Smith is aces for those who have not met him. He is without a doubt one of the good guys...

And as Sean would also say, "Jerry, why can't you ever wheel with me, eh?" :D

First off I am glad that everyone made it home safe. I had a blast and it was really good to meet you all. I had a really good time and after watching rescue take his Rubi through all the trails throwen at him I ask myself...Why spend all the money..

Jerry C.. You will make it next time that is an order.. You will missed and we will be planning another meet and greet in April..Hell maybe sooner.

I will throw some pix up tomorrow. I did not get as many as I would have like to but hey... There will be a next time.

This is what is all aboot....EH!!!

I added a second link to my original Post.

Shows off the Rocks on Rattlers Tail a little more.

I did bend my tie rod ever so slightly, but I think that just fixed my toe in

No winch line needed. (LOL Sean)

Drivers meeting on Sunday on Whompum. Jerry, Sean, Me and one of Jerry's Co-pilots.

That is what the skid (shovel) is for. Like I said I should have brought the 60" HiLift.

Heres the tree Elff.

Hi My name is Elff

Im an Addict

Everytime I go 4wheeling I hit a tree.

{crowd chimes in-Keep Coming It helps}

U see normally It is with the rear roll bar to prevent a roll over
but this time I just hit one straight on.
:)

I seem to have found a design flaw with the TBT front bumper.
Sure, it covers the metal part of the fender, but that doesnt matter if your flare hits something.
4" more on each side would be perfect
Or...................
u can just take off the flares for the day
What the heck, it is only 10 bolts a side

AAA our friend mr tree.
First comment I made when I looked at Rattler.
WOW- looks like everyone bounces off this tree.
BING!!!!!!!!

Great pictures everyone. Sorry I missed the fun, though the carnage looks like it got a little bit of everybody. I guess better bumpers and skids are in order.

You will need a site to host them at like imagestation
and then you can link to them here by either using the img button
or you can just put up the link to your imagestation slideshow.

picture insert question

.....then I open my imagestation file to find the URL, copy to my posting with the Img or URL button??

I want to make sure my picture shows up in the message, not just a link to a site.

Thanks.
