willing to bet chrysler sold CJ design castings to mahindra waaaaaay back in the day, just like they did with XJ's to someone in china (cant remember what the company's name is). that is why the previous model names were CJ 340 and 540. kinda funny that a vehicle so similar in image to a CJ would have the name "CJxxx". but with that said I doubt it would ever come to our country simply because of its similarity to a real CJ.
still waiting for the mahindra pickup truck to show up for sale around here. compact diesel crew cab 4x4 would fit my lifestyle perfectly as a DD.

Mahindra, like many others, made Jeeps under license. Most of those contracts were let in the late 50's under Kaiser leadership (way before Chrysler).
