Would there be any advantages in cutting BL pucks to say let's say 3/4" or 5/8"?

not really any advantage, yea you move your CG down a little but not enough to really matter. why would you want to?
Cosmetic would be the rear bumper. You can't tell all that much when a body lift is on except when you see the rear pucks sitting on the bumper..Not the best looking...

Other reason I was thinking, on "most" TT's you need a BL & that followed by a MML for the fan shroud & maybe driveline. What if you can cut the pucks down just enough to clear & fit the TT & not have to worry about the MML because the BL wouldn't be enough to worry about the fan shroud.
Pretty much any rear bumper carrier covers the gap in the rear.....so thats not a big deal.... :D
technically you can run just about any TT without a BL it just means alot more work sometimes. you have to dimple the tub and such for clearance and it makes it pretty tight under there. as for the rear, like steve said you can get a carrier to hide it. what i did is mount just the post for my highlift on a mount right there while keeping the jack mechanism inside the jeep. hides the gap and keeps the jack from gumming up.
Gotcha and good idea. I was just bored & thinking about something different, see what kind of answers I could get...
Seems like you are against the MML. I put one in a few weeks ago and it was done in about an hour. Seems like it would be more work/time consuming to cut down the body pucks than to just do the MML and enjoy the benefits of that. Just my $.02.

Not really against it, I like what it does. Just after reading all the write-ups, instructions & watching videos...Just seemed like it was something I didn't want to mess with. I rate myself about a 4 out 10 on mechanical side of things...I installed lifts on both my TJ & JK with no problem.
