Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted on here. I left for the USAF in 2006 and my wife and I just finally got back to CO for good. I have had one other TJ since we sold ours before leaving CO, but that was only for a few months before moving to Japan.

After multiple countries and states, we are very happy to be back home in CO and are looking forward to getting back out and exploring!

Some past trips with other ROF CO members early 2000s

Crazy to think back on those times compared to now. Anyways, with 3 little ones now, we decided to go with a Gladiator for exploring. It just came in last week after waiting on it for a couple months. My oldest (5yo) picked the color, although I was sold on red as I’ve always loved red Jeeps. He was pumped when it came in and the other little ones are really happy as well. My 2yo already points out all the Jeeps he sees on the road - and that was before ours was delivered.

Here are some initial pics. Looking forward to building her up and all the adventures to be had.

Just arrived

I think the red rubicon your thinking of was Don Lawrence? Who kinda organized and led that run. Think Don passed few years ago from cancer?

It was Don, I was drawing a blank on his name. That is too bad to hear.

He and I camped together before the run.
