How do you remove the pins from this plug.
Is there a how to in dealing with connectors on the stock harness?

There should be a locking tab that is accessed from the pin side. Slide a small flat blade screwdriver under the tab and push towards the pin while pulling gently on the wire side. The pin should pull out once released.

Thanks Ken. I will give it a shot.

I will take pics of the splices when I am done. Removing the pin then splicing allow for a proper shrink wrap on the joint.

I failed at getting the pins out. Rather that force them (take a chance messing up the plug) I chose heat shrink tape (looks somewhat better than electrical tape).
I got this info for this modification from WranglerTJForum.com (hopefully I am not violating and rules or laws by placing this info here).
Independent Locker Control by Ken White

The wires involved are pins 1,6,7 (Black, Violet/LG), Violet/DB)
Digging in my auto wiring bin I found 18ga wire in black, yellow and green.
I went black to black, green to LG and yellow to DB.
The black goes to one side of each switch.
Yellow to the driver side switch.
Green to the passenger side switch.

I beat up an injector plug trying to get it apart. I finally ordered a pigtail replacement that looks different, but functions fine.
