Hello all,
Just bought a LJ Rubicon to replace my TJ Rubicon. The LJ is coming with a hardtop, but I want to replace with a soft top.

Note, I live in Minnesota but run my soft top year around. Heater works great so I never needed/wanted a hard top. For the LJ, I have a line on a new factory soft top with the frame and everything. My other option would be a frameless top from BestTop like the NX with the fastback design or Rampage (half the price).

Does anyone have experience with these 3 options? I like the convenience of no frame, but it needs to fit tight and keep me warm in the winter.

Thanks!
WW

I would think the frame would be beneficial in case of snow load

Because of the longer length of the LJ, I prefer factory top, mainly because of the sunrider option.

I had a factory LJ soft top on my old one and I have the frameless NX fastback you mention on my current LJ. No question go with the factory framed top. Less noise and easier to get the windows in and out.
