Ok so I'm having trouble getting the radiator bumpers on and my biggest issue the the gas filler neck. I removed the screws so it wouldnt crack the bezel and now I cant get the damn things back on. Any tips?

Check out Rokmen viedo on YouTube...
I'm pretty sure I've memorized them.
For the front grill snubbers, I found it was easier to freeze them for an hour and use a big prybar to push the bottom into the grill. Option two is to remove the light and with plyers, grab the snubbers and pull up.

For the gas tank tube, I ended up loosening the hose clamp at the tank and that gave me about 1/4" of hose to attach the bezel to the body.
I put the snubbers in the freezer for a few hours and applied a lot of lubricant to the top (I don't remember if it was dish soap or lithium grease I used). Then pulled up with vice-grips through the headlight hole.
Tie a string around the nipple, thread it through the hole, lube it up and pull up with someone pushing or prying.
Those front snubbers are funny. I installed 2 sets real easy by putting some Astro Glide on them. They popped right in. On a third Jeep I had to remove the headlamps and pull them through with a pair of needle nose pliers.

And before you say something about my Astro Glide- -- - re read yours!

I was sooooo close to saying something. I've got them in the freezer now, gonna try that first, then the string.....THEN the astro glide.

On a side note, word to the wise, make sure you have a full grasp on the headlight when removing it...ask me how I know. And I got the fuel filler.
Thing I did was loosen the front end enough, slide the factory jack in right above the coil spring (top end) and inner fender and then let the jack down while the snubber was in place. popped right in.
The KY/Astroglide/"personal" lube thing is something many mechanics know about. A lot of times you may not want to use a petroleum based lube for a couple reasons (i am talking on wrenching now) Stuff like oil or petroleum jelly can leave residues that attract dirt and are hard to clean up. Some of the stuff you are putting oil/grease on may be damaged or weakened by the petroleum. Personal lubes are pretty safe for sensitive areas and it washes off with water. I have found that when used on o-rings it not only helps to slide the o-ring on, but it also helps seal better as when it dries it becomes sort of sticky and although water can still wash it off, I think it helps seal the 2 surfaces together better. I had an old biker buddy who used it on a lot of stuff on Harleys and I now usually keep a small tube in the garage. The Gel stuff works best IMHO. And it is slick. Slicker than greased Owl poo on a wet cement floor.
Ok so while waiting for the bumpers to freeze, I started the MML, I got the 2 passenger side frame bolts off, but cant get crossshaft mm bolt out (the nut is off though)....wtf? Am I missing something? I've done much tougher things before.

you have to unbolt the motor mount from the engine block in order to remove the bolt. upon reinstall, put the bolt in the other way.

Nope, thats the drivers side due to the A/C pump. I havent even got to that one yet. The passenger bolt I just cant remove, its pretty tight in there and of course the access is tight.

Put the nut on and try hitting with a hammer. There should be room

edit- I remembered on mine that I had to use a ratchet to unscrew the bolt from the mount.

edit2- here is a writeup with pictures that may help

You got a jack under the engine?

I'm done for the night (work tmrw). But I have the jack under the bell housing just supporting, not lifting (per rokmen instructions)

Just want to make sure you have enough weight off to take the bolt out.

Also, make darn sure the stock vertical bolt/stud gets a little chopped off.

It would be a lot easier if you put the jack below the oil pan with a piece of wood under it.
