My Mom saw it at the guitar shop and got it for me for Christmas. I keep picks, strings, straps, etc in it. I am a huge KISS fan.Is that a KISS lunch box... or?
What's the story behind it?

I went to Kiss concert around 77-78 in Macon, Georgia. At my age then they were okay, now I've evolved and listen to Floyd, and the Scorps mostly.Wifey is a huge Kiss fan. I am not, but being the good partner I have been dragged to many KISS concerts.
A while ago she bought a life sized Paul. The first thing I thought was that the dog or cat would have a go on him but so far he is untouched. He is kept in her studio so it doesn't bother me except on occasion when I am working in the yard I will see him out the corner of my eye through her french doors and immediately think we have a intruder.

Yes, but I've only been playing for 6 months, so the recordings are more to document my progress, than to show off my "talent".....lol.Nice.
These posts remind me of a saying (slightly altered)
"This post is useless without sound"
Do you have any recordings of you playing?
I keep mine next to my recliner. Out of sight equals out of mind. I've been trying to learn some chords, even those of the power variety. Riding season is starting to show up, now and again, but being retired, I think I'll be able to fit in riding and playing and with any luck, a little Jeeping as well.I've got a couple geetars, in the winter I learn chords, then cycling season comes, and forget most everything.
I should drag it all out again, but cycling season is here. My only real goal is to play Amazing Grace.
Pretty sure I'd be completely incapable of playing drums.Sounding good, keep up the good work!
I've played drums since I could walk. but I'm a terrible guitar player
Here's a video of my band a few years back... (female guitar player & she rocks) I've got some videos of us covering KISS somewhere, I'll dig them out.
I did the same, amp, guitars, music stand, pedal board and a stool by my recliner, and I did well till riding season came, then the guitar slowly got ignored. This went on for 3 or so years, then I decided to put it all up. It is a waste having the equipment doing nothing.I keep mine next to my recliner. Out of sight equals out of mind. My fingers don't feel that nimble to me.....but they are more nimble than they were 6-months ago. Since riding takes gas and playing guitar doesn't, I have a feeling I'll get plenty of guitar time in this summer. I'll just try not to think about how much riding I could have done with the money I spent on the guitars and amp......or on the upcoming Jeep improvements.I did the same, amp, guitars, music stand, pedal board and a stool by my recliner, and I did well till riding season came, then the guitar slowly got ignored. I do know one thing, my fingers are not as nimble as yours!
I was going to get my equipment out yesterday after I rode the bike, but after getting home after 40 miles, I lost interest, maybe Thursday since I am riding again today. This is the chord book I use. It's about an inch thick, spiral bound, with a chord on each page. I have another I like, but will have to search for it later. My fingers don't feel that nimble to me.....but they are more nimble than they were 6-months ago.
