I bought my LJ brand new in June 2005. It’s been a long ride and lots of things have happened between then and now. I’ve still got it and there have been numerous changes over the years and I’m pretty happy with how it sits. Upgrades will always continue happening a little at a time. The only stickers that have never been removed are my ROF decals

I rarely have anything to post as far as updates to the Jeep. I pretty much kept it as is for years!

Some of the changes to my '05 RU that I bought brand new as well.

  • '06-ish Old Man Emu 2" lift with a 1" spring spacer and a 1.25" BL on 255/85 16s.
  • '10-ish ... 315s ... then added a Rubicon Express 4.5" superflex, same 1" spacers & BL.
  • '12-ish ... Bestop front winch bumper ... Superwinch 9000#.
  • '19 ...LED back up bulbs.
The control arms need rebuilding .... thinking of going back to the OME lift.
