well, i traded in the wifes 06 tj sport today at noon and got her a 2010 wrangler unlimited sport, auto, hard top, auto, power everything. with 400 miles on it!!! we absolutely love it. ill tell ya this thing is like a cadillac compared to my roller skate, but oh how do i love my roller skate!

but anyways my dilema is at 7pm it was backed into by some Ahole, tons of damage to the other car (ford taurus) while the jk only suffered a light scratch (which i buffed out) however the passengers side rear door lower hinge got pretty scratched up. and my wife has been in tears over it since it happened, can anyone help me out as far as painting one up for me so it looks as factory as possible.

i can do a swap for you, need a power steering line, set of front brake lines, some air disconnects, or hydraulic hose for you PSC steering unit??? tell me ill send it out first thing monday! please just help her out.

Sorry to hear about your new Jeep. Why not let the other person's insurance take care of it?
for the cost of the insurance crap, and the amount of damage not worth it what so ever, other wise i would. basically insurance would tell me to get some touch up paint, but she is devistated over it considering its her first new car, and on her first day of ownership, so i would rather have someone that i know so to speak that could do a pro job do it. and if i can help someone out, id rather have one hand wash the other
PM Okies or Elwarpo... the resident paint experts, and maybe post some pics so we can see exactly how bad the scratch is.
Was the Taurus totaled? at least the damage to yours sounds minor
For my 03, I gave the dealer my VIN and they got me the silver paint in spray form. Matches perfectly and is great for small touchups. I don't know what the hinge on the jk looks like but if you can unbolt it, scuff it up, and repaint the whole thing with the spray, then clear coat over it (can also get that spray from most auto part stores), it should look good as new.
oh it is def minor, in my eyes, just sucks in her eyes for it being new. i was thinking of okies and elwarpo chances are on of them will chime in on this issue

you can pick up a paint touch up stick from Napa or the dealer for 4 dollars.

thats exactly what I was thinking. It'll be tough to match exactly, but i bet you could get close.

she would never know :)
Take it to the dealership. They can take care of that type of stuff for cheap and they will have the paint in-house.
nice color, maybe the dealer can hook you up. good luck
