I was wondering what parts I would need and is it worth the work and $ to go to the long arm system.
Does the new long arm t-case skid lower the t-case,but also give you more clearence. or does it raise everything.
I have a little bit of vibes now,but nothing to worry about is what I'm told.(it's a jeep thing, this happens when you lift)So I am curious how the long arm kit affects the t-case?
Would it be cheaper to get a whole new system and sell the old or just get the additional parts needed to convert to a long arm kit?

Thanks,
Daaron

I just did along arm update kit last week for a buddy. I called Mark at TJ outfitters to get the kit. It comes with just about everything, No rear adjustable track bar, the track bar bracket for a cv-driveshaft, front upper control arms. It took me about 12 hours and there some welding of the frame spacers. We went to the 5.5" springs also. The rear driveshaft was to short and we did need a new exhaust put on too. It's some work, But it looks cool and high we haven't try it off road yet {wait on the driveshaft} next weekend we will. Hope this helps.

I have the front and rear T-bar also ,so I guess the cost would be the same.

What about the t-case skid.Does the RE t-case skid lower or raise it compared to the stock one?

I would be interested in seeing how 9th degree is going to do a skid for a long arm kit, especially since the skid is integrated into the lift for RE.

i met Jim Frens (Pres) of 9th Degree Mobility...
he looked at my rubi with the RE LA and mentioned
he would have a tummy tucking skid to adapt to an
existing RE LA kit...best part is said it would raise the
RE type skid up 2.5'' or 2'' for the auto
he was not sure of cost yet....have to wait till testing is done.
