Something like this???

Way back in the day I had some ET unilug wheels that had an oval slot for the lug nuts to afford multiple bolt patterns.
The washer was an insert that fit into the slot and could be positioned to give different patterns.

Just to be clear...
these are the washers/lugs that are used with the wheels.
The oval washer with the offset hole can go on either offset to the center or outside allowing two different bolt patterns, the oval washer with the centered hole allows the option of a third bolt pattern.



Although they aren't as good as hub centric wheels they were fine for the application at the time.

The ones I had came with two sets of washers, the holes were centered in one set, and offset on the second; which would give you three bolt patterns. The wheels I had where like this, quite popular back then
