Hardtop wind shield wiper

888 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  GoodiSniper
I have a 05 TJ and bought a hardtop for it. The hardtop has a rear wind shield wiper. I didnt see any wires from my jeep to connect to the wiper connection. I was wondering if there was a way to splice some wires or some type of adaptor so i can use the wiper?
thanks

Sounds like you need the harness (combo wire and hose) and the switches for everything to work. Does it have the defroster too? It should be capable or spraying washer fluid on the back glass, as well.

Kit comes w/ everything needed: complete harness w/ factory connector pins pre-terminated, a new washer fluid reservoir w/ the second pump for rear, dash switch & relay(s) for rear defroster, wiper and spray operation. It's a complete kit to do it right....wires running all over the place in the dash. I have the install instructions from when I did mine. I got the kit back in '04 for around $110.
Yes the full kit is the way to go, I got mine from http://www.jeepsareus.com
