Drilled out the tank end the length of the tube to 5/32, got a 5/32 OD brass tube for $1.99 and cut a small piece nice and slow with a pipe cutter. Lightly sanded the brass tube and drill out 5/32 plus chamfered the ends just a little. Test fit then cleaned everything with alcohol or cleaning liquor for some

. Used JB weld quick epoxy and slid the brass into the tank, nice tight fit. then I painted the brass with epoxy and mated the pieces. Wiped away excess. I'll probably paint the crack tomorrow with epoxy also. Here to no CELs.
Hind sight - I could probably gone up a size in brass tube but I wanted to remove as little material as possible. At the crack its 5/32 and tapers out the end see photo.
