I remember Tasco - they were indeed bargain Japanese optics 50 years ago. Funny how things change, Japanese optics were considered sort of second-rate like many other of their products. Now optics from Japan are among the best of the best. Some could make a good argument that German optics are a bit better but I suspect it's a tossup. The Vortex Razor scope is made in Japan, their next most expensive scope is made in the USA. All of their others are Chinese.

Another vote for a good bipod and push forward to load the bi-pod legs (like Mike said.)
I imagine the new Tasco will be made in the CCP.
I'll likely use a couple of bags for the Benjamin to stabilize it better.

Scratch all that and ignore the email you probably just got, if you get email notifications.

I reinstalled the safety a 4th time and this time pushed the detent into the hole and held it in with a small allen head and it works and does not wobble. So I reinstalled the handle with it like that and then put the ambi adjuster on. It's good now. This also prevents it from moving side to side. Just an install nuance.

It's a great color match to the button on my brace.
It should match the Buffer Tube I got as well, if I need to use that after May 31.
So if a 3 letter agency is watching. Na Na Na Na Na

And from the side, which is the entire reason for me buying it

This really makes putting the gun on safe so much easier by using the finger that pulls the trigger. On Safe with Trigger discipline = More Better.

I converted my Magpul sling to have the easier quick disconnects and I eliminated the section where it can convert from a 2 to a single point sling. I already have a single point sling, and I don't like it. IMHO the 2 point adjustable, allows you to keep the AR tight on your body without having to hold it, and still have access to your backup. Single point slings take the weight of the gun off you, but offer no control. You still have to hold the gun with at least one hand to prevent it from swinging. Anyway.......Pictures
Modified sling with the single button QD and the 2 to 1 point adapter removed

and the entire current setup. The GQ Armory Handguard has a QD attachment point which works out very well as a hand stop

I also installed one of these in my Alfa Romeo, so I have a very solid Kydex Pistol mount for my Hellcat

I will be adding one of these to both my Gladiator and TJ

I use two point the majority of the time (99.9%), but having the single point option is nice, and the adapter does not interfere with me. You might have a tree root growing out of a cave wall, and decide man if I had a single point I could hang my firearm there with the barrel end down, so the water can drain out.

PSA had a sale on those two or three weeks ago, I bought three of them and installed one. WOW. Wish I knew about them years ago, you can release the bolt without moving your hand off the trigger area. Need to get the others installed.

Love the collapsing stock on your 'pistol'!
