That whole setup kicks ass.
Instead of registering, I am going to get that Buffer tube for mine, just in case.
The Magpul Sling is really nice. I am going to covert mine to the push connects you have on yours. All that will end up doing is eliminating a lot of my extra sling material, which I don't need.
Strike Industries only has the red in stock. Pistol Buffer Tube
If you camo the pistol it won't matter what color the buffer is. :)
I won't register anything with the gestapo. My pistol is legal according to their fabricated rules.
Yes, I am quite pleased with the pistol, now I need to camo the carbine.
The scope and mounts for the Benjamin Pump will be here tomorrow. The scope will be a bit overkill for the Benjamin, but it should be fun, with the variable power.

I still have time so I will keep checking to see when they get a black one back in stock
You may have to wait for a few months till the panic is over. The black and Earth color were out when I bought my blue one, now it is out, and red is the color they have. A little grey primer and flat black paint will take care of the red.
I am impatiently waiting for Amazon to deliver the scope stuff, I likely won't mount till tomorrow since it looking like the stuff will be delivered this afternoon, and I am pretty useless come the late afternoon. Come to think of it, I am pretty useless all day. LOL

My painting skills are more than decent and since I will only being doing black, how bad can I F that up.
I'll get one ordered as a backup.
What did you use for padding on the end of yours?

I am using something I got from Amazon for the buffer tube. It is a rip off. I also had to cut it down in order to pull the charge handle back. If I have to replace it, I will purchase a piece of AC refrigeration line insulation, it will be cheaper, and I'll have plenty leftover for when this piece gets messed up.

The scope stuff came in for the Benjamin Pump. The scope came with amber covers, never saw this before.
I also received the March TacPac, more safety glasses, some targets, a standard two point sling, a sticker, and a Buffalo K&T folder knife. The knife is decent, it flips out quick. I took my old Buck out of my pocket, and put this in. I also cancelled the subscription, nothing in the boxes I don't already have. I do like knives though, but I have a bag full of knives already.

That air rifle must be accurate to need a scope! I have a fairly decent rimfire scope on my Ruger 10/22 - it's been a good squirrel gun and with birdshot killing trash (non-native) birds.

I bought a one-off TacPack for $60 just out of curiosity and meh. It was fun unboxing it but some of the stuff was interesting but not really useful. Got a T-shirt and a good pair of work gloves, an okay knife, fire starter, a dry storage pouch for a handgun or whatever (a solution looking for a problem.) Speaking of a solution looking for a problem, one of the items was a clear plastic window for an AR ejection port cover. What were they thinking 🙃?

The one-off box is quite a bit different from the monthly.
About the only thing useful for me in the March bike is the flipper knife.
The Benjamin pump is accurate with iron sights, once I get it sighted in with the scope, it should be just as accurate for objects sitting still. There won't be anymore getting them while they are on the run though.
I guess the clear port door is for those who need to look and see where the bolt is, or maybe it's a pretty boy thing.

The pellet gun is sighted in reasonably well. I want it to be better, pull it in another .25 inches, then it will be good for squirrel. I need another target, I could hardly see the x on 9 power. I was having to brace against my shed, and by the time I walked to the target 20 or so times, my heart started beating, so regardless of breath control the rifle would move slightly, but at the target it was more like .5 inches. Elevation is fine, windage is to the left. If I remember, I will go out in the morning,
I should invest in a lead sled, or build something. I can get a squirrel with the way it is, but it is better to get as tight a pattern as you can for the tree rat, if it were fox squirrel I could bring them home all day if any were around. I have those orange targets from that TacPac, maybe I will see what they are about.

Thought the TP targets were orange, the sticker on the package is orange. I put a black circle in the middle, anywhere in there will be good. Hopefully my blind self can see it. My glasses don't help looking through the scope, especially when the glasses are not clean. The black dot is approximately an inch in diameter.

I was going to cut the grass today, but it will be there next week. Instead, I think I am going to put up a permanent backstop for the Benjamin, and paintball gun. I am using a dog house as a backstop at the moment. I will make a simple rest for the Benjamin also. The current target is around 40' away, I am going to see what 50' looks like. This would get most tree rats near me.
Wow, just saw where this Benjamin is selling for 229-329 US pieces of paper.

Backstop is up, and I quit. I can't find either of my staple guns. I guess I put them in a safe place where I could find them.
I forgot to mention, when I measured the distance to the target on the dog house, it was 20 yards. Sixty feet is a good distance, I will have to aim a little lower for most of the tree rats since they won't be 60 feet up in the tree.
I also found one of the staple guns, and I do not know why I put it where it was. It was on a tool box by the still.

I returned the new scope today, something was wrong with it. A blind china man focused it.
I ordered another with focusing rings, and diopter correction. Oddly enough it is a Tasco scope, the very first scope I put on this thing nearly 50 years ago was a Tasco, not like the one coming though. I think it cost around five bucks at K-Mart in the 70s.

Do you all use bags or a lead sled for sighting your rifle/scope/dot?
I need something, I am not as steady as I used to be.
Front bpod and rear bag will make it rock solid. Load the bipod by leaning forward on it. With your off hand hold the rear bag under the rear stock and slowly squeeze the bag to increase height.

Rear bag use

All colors but black are in stock for the Strike industries Buffer.
I ordered an FDE one, as that will be a good starting color.

So now I at least have a good backup plan, while we wait for this fiasco to work itself out.

The next scope for the Benjamin pump will be here Tuesday, and this morning I ordered a pic rail to Weaver adapter, so I don't have to mess with the Weaver.
I also took the AR pistol out this morning before light and laser bore sighted it on the 20 yard target I put up for the Benjamin. I turned the intensity way down on the green dot, to get it as close as possible till I get to a range. The red laser was much brighter than the green dot, and once adjusted the green dot disappeared, till I shined at a tree around 50 yards away, then the green dot was lower.

I remember Tasco - they were indeed bargain Japanese optics 50 years ago. Funny how things change, Japanese optics were considered sort of second-rate like many other of their products. Now optics from Japan are among the best of the best. Some could make a good argument that German optics are a bit better but I suspect it's a tossup. The Vortex Razor scope is made in Japan, their next most expensive scope is made in the USA. All of their others are Chinese.

Another vote for a good bipod and push forward to load the bi-pod legs (like Mike said.)
