I find those hand stops worthless.
Just hold onto the M-Lok Rail or just in front of the magazine holder.
All you need is something small to remind you, which you should not need reminding of, to not put your hand in front of the barrel.
That looks good, but man I am really surprised at how big that Red Dot is.

The stop looked like a good idea at the time, but in application, I do not like it, puts my hand in a uncomfortable position.
I have another stop coming, it's a tiny thing, about an inch long.
I do know you should not shoot your hand, but with the short upper I am thinking accident, bumping into something which might dislodge your hand, etc.
My firearm's intended purposes are for other than plinking, so I take other things into consideration.

I received the new buffer tube, it's nice for a buffer tube, but it did not bring the pistol under the 26 inch rule, knowing that it might not, I had ordered another tube kit from Strike Industries that will shorten the pistol by approx. two inches.
They only had blue and red in stock. I ordered blue, but will be putting a piece of black foam on it, so it won't be shining like a light.

I'm waiting out this brace fiasco
It violates so many different laws it's ridiculous. And the Gun grabbers need to realize that none of their laws work.
California's most recent incident and every day in Chicago are perfect examples. All these do is remove the ability for law abiding citizens to properly defend themselves

Yep, I'm waiting, but not overly concerned, as I will do what I want anyway.
I tell ya, the more I handle this pistol, the more I like it. It's light, it's small, and the buffer fits well on my cheek. It makes me feel younger. LOL
It is however nickel, and diming me. I will have spare parts.

I hear ya on that.
LOL
Elff, do you use a sling on your AR pistol. I have slings for both single point, and double. The buffer tube that is coming has a QD hole on the end, which would not be good for single point. I will likely use the ambidextrous end plate I have now.
I'm wondering which type sling mount to get for the front if I do double.

Depending on what I am doing, I will.
I prefer 2 point slings, as I feel they control the gun more and help keep the barrel in a safer position.

I have one of these that can be used as a single or double point connection.
But it's kind of bulky for someone as small as me
So recently I purchased one of these and really like it.

In the house, though, I do not have a sling attached. I don't want to have to deal with anything other than the pistol in a situation where I have to defend my family

I ordered some M-lok QD's, male/female. I am hoping with the buffer tube that is coming it will let me use the end plate I have. I did order an extra male QD for the buffer tube end, just in case. I'm the same way about the sling, if I don't need it, I do not use it.
The honey badger sling I can easily reproduce, since I have many feet of mil-spec paracord.
Oh Well, chicken wings are calling.

I learned something this morning. The hand guard on the PSA upper has QD holes on the hand guard, two rear, L&R, and two forward, L&R, depending on the barrel will determine whether the OD will work on the barrel, i.e. will the QD insert and lock.
This is likely true for other sellers uppers also, as they look remarkably the same.

Just picked up another tip of sorts. Instead of a hand stop, just use the flashlight as a stop. I am seeing this stuff on T.Rex Arms on YouTube. The vid I am watching is a low cost honey badger build, 300AAC, using PSA components.

OOOO
Just got shipping notice on my new custom upper.
I am still waiting for UPS to move my stuff out of Ft. Worth, Tx. The stuff has been there since the 2nd according to UPS due to winter weather.
