Never noticed anything like that on mine. Most all heim joints are self lubricating, that said I do usually hit mine up with some light oil, wd-40, etc.
Currie Anti-rock Lubrication
I installed my Anti-Rock and noticed pin holes at the bottom of the Heim joints. (I think thats what they are called) Are these holes for grease? How often do they need lubed and do I need to lube them right away?

I hit mine up with Amsoil's version. It doesn't dry out over time. Works great. I just check them every once and a while. Spray as needed type of deal due to use off road.
