Interesting...I have never seen a snorkle like that. What made u decide that design rather than the traditional one?

I ran across another posting on how to do it with a Hummer snorkle and adapted that idea to a hydralic tank filter housing

Why don't you post some details of what you did, with the pictures, with a parts list. It looks interesting and a follow-on to how it performs would be nice too.

been driving most of the day with no difference in performance, maybe on a hotter day it could be more noticeable
the housing with filter came from Hydac, a hydraulic company, it has a weird BSP - ISO 2 1/2" threaded output which I had a machine shop make an adapter for but you could easily weld a pipr into it - the rest is some hose and a couple of holes to drill, then cut off the stock intake and put them together
