Seems to be many rumors and a general lack of facts other than it is indeed continuing to spread and at an increasing rate.

Who's talking about science? I'm talking about bringing the virus to this country rather quarantining in place.
I'm sure the infected are glad to be back in the US, but it puts the rest of the country at risk with this virus. I'm sure the government is doing what they do, but if the virus is like they say it is, it will spread and likely from the ones repatriated back to this country.

Went to pick up some groceries last might and noticed a run on certain products. There were more than a few folks with carts full of bottled water, canned soup, disinfecting products and even bleach. None of these items were out of stock, but the quantity on the shelf was very low.

Yeah, it's crazy.
This virus is bad because there is no vaccine yet. It's bat flu like the swine flu, and the shrunken head flu.
It needs to be dealt with like when ya get the regular flu, if it gets bad goto the hospital, and stay away from others, not unless your a socialist, then go and socialize with like minded Individuals.

Lots of incorrect info..death rate is about 2-3.7% depending on which areas are reporting vs .1% for the flu. So for those who didn't take or don't understand science that's 20-37 times more Lethal.

Listen to the experts not to the idiots like Rush and others.

Last I saw was a estimate of 40-70% of us will get infected. The measures the US and Canada are taking are not to stop the virus but to slow down the rate of infection so the hospitals can deal with the acute cases. In North America we are going to be dealing with this craziness for at least months.

This is a historic time equal to the turn of the century Spanish Flu epidemic.

Our Jeep club has a full schedule and the first cancellation was noted today because of the Coronavirus situation. Probably this years schedule will be totally disrupted.

Anyway some of us old guys are planing to shelter in place in our RV's out in the remote Nevada desert this spring and do some 4 wheeling away from the masses;)

Of course, we will hang around the camp fire at least 6 feet away from each other, wash our hands frequently and not touch our face:) Just might be the safest place for us.

As we go into the next couple weeks we will see more disruption than at any other time in history. I fear fear. The fear is going to possibly kill more people than the CV Virus. Our family is lucky. The wife and I are retired. Other than major othorpedic issues we are pretty healthy for old farts. My kids who live 600 steps away can work from home. We got lots of ammo. We had a family meeting and decided to hunker down as good as we can. We are going to try as we can to not come into contact with others except for the weekly food trip. Very good possibility food will become more scarce. Watching what is going on in Europe is an eye opener. As far as avoiding the sickness goes is the easy part. But when everything collapses on the economic front the hoopleheads will be coming for your stuff. Think where you were 2 weeks ago with this stuff and where you are now. The madness is exponential and I don't see where it will end.
It's a good time to pray.
