A great trip indeed.

That is all....

Had an awesomely fun trip to Clayton this past weekend with some boys from Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas....We showed up late Thursday, but got a full day of wheeling in on Friday and then 2 fun trails on Saturday before the sky opened up and drenched us all. Trails included: Jeff's Ledges, Green Mamba, 8 Point, Cake Walk, and Lucky....and then the next day we ran all of 8 Point and C&H Sugar. We were about 2-300 yards from the end of C&H when the rains came and the parts broke. No real carnage for me (other than my chrome exhaust tip  ).

Great to see Philip and Chris' builds...awesome! SICK!

Here are some of the pics..

Jeff's Ledges

Green Mamba

Cake Walk

Rivers

Ummmm....Rivers....didn't you tell your wife that disco is gone?

We made our way around to take a look at Slim's Slope and found this guy on it....Big ole Blz...as he drove out of what I was sure was a flop...but no dice.

Day 2..

Chris having a conversation with Rivers on the CB while getting a wheel in the air....

And the rains came...

Thanks to all who came out and especially to Crazy Joe for making his way over.

What tummy tuck is the orange/red jeep running in the pics? Looks flat to me, interested in working something like that out on mine
That's mine (orange :cheesy: )...it is custom....almost flat. Has about 3/4" drop from edge to the 14" wide center strip.
RDL thanks for posting, great pics...We had a great time with a great bunch. Look forward to the next trip between Christmas and New Years!! Next visit we will get you on Slims Slope and Blacksheep Blvd and Green Mamba Extension, providing the weather accomodates us...

Very nice rig, I like the setup you have, looking for something very similar
Great pics!

Clayton was a great trip! We covered a lot of ground, and saw a nice variety of trails.

The company was excellent, and really made the trip enjoyable! I already look forward to the next outing.
nice axles there Phillip :lildevil: your rig never fails to impress
time to step up to some 39" or 40" stickies my friend
cool pix

SHHHHH .... She might hear you...She really does miss the 70's :rotflmao:

Wow guys we had a great time! Thanks for the Pics Jeremy! Really enjoyed the wheeling and the jawing, not enough of either but man what a weekend. It's been nearly two years since we have wheeled Clayton and even though we have lost some of our favorite trails, (Hurd Creek) there is still too much to do to fill a weekend at Green Acres.
The rain kept some folks from coming out can't blame them but we had a stellar weekend anyway.
Thanks everybody!

ROCKS!!! :D

I bent my RK skid too.. its pushed up about 1/2-3/4 inch and its 1/4 or 5/16 plate
Eric thanks for posting the pics. Had a great time wheeling with you. That down pore left you and I in one heck of a mess. Even being soaked it was still a good time visiting in the worst conditions. I didn't see the shock broke when I looked but it was in one heck of a bind. You are a great driver to have stopped dead in your stacks when you did, the damage would have been a lot worse...If you decide you want a custom arm pm me the size of everything and I can build you one from the old RE parts we have in the barn...
Man thats a good looking jeep in front of you in those last few pics Eric! Had a great time-as always. Hope to do an end of the year run with you guys, wherever it might be... :lildevil: SEK/SWM/NEO Ultimate Adventure? --- And who would have known that a few Oatmeal Cream Pies could be traded for a trail weld job?? :D Thanks again Chris!
