My left front was out by -1.2, I thought about the offset ball joint but opted for the shims. Just installed them and I am out -.2 deg. by my digital compass. It was really pretty simple
but when they tell you to pay attention to your dust shield orientation, you better. I put it on right only it was backward, had to pull hub back off. That tapping the hub with a hammer
doesn't work so well. I used a gear puller, worked great. Use some antisieze, it helps if you need to take it back apart like I did.
