it is just barely weeping. should i get this replaced right away or see if it gets worse? only 11k miles so plenty of time before the 36k warranty runs out. my concern about having it replaced is that it won't be as good of a job as the factory. since it isn't really leaking that bad (yet), maybe i should leave it alone? thoughts?

Well how good was the factory job if it leaks at all

Mine leaked at 1,100 miles! Dealer replaced it-refused to perform extra seal (RTV) in gap, now it is weeping again. There is a point that I will have it replaced again. When it drips. A weeping rear main seals is sad  , but just an annoyance. Look for drips and execute dealer warranty repair plan A then. My 3 cents..

My dealer told me they would not cover the rear main seal for me... as it is not an internaly lubricated part.

I asked them if they would cover all the bearings when the rear main failed...

No answer. :(
