This is my new year's present to myself. I found on the interwebs, and it was at a small mom and pop used car lot. I drove up and looked over it, and asked questions on it's upgrades. The salesman shrugged and said he just knew it was a jeep. I asked if they had the remote for the winch and he replied he didn't know it needed one.
He called the previous owner that was in town and he said he forgot to put in the jeep. Then his next question was would the new owner be interested in soft top and some misc. jeep parts? Score!
This jeep has gotten around, started it's life in Boston, then went to south Carolina, up to Alaska, finally down to Minnesota.
I'm the third owner, and so far I've taken it to it to the exotic location of....Wisconsin and northern Minnesota.
I had Maxbilt of Eau Claire put on new rocker panels, a CB, paint the rims, and fix the bushings.
