We have a very active Jeep club.
I have aver 50 trails on my GPS SD card. And I have driven them all several times. I used to work for SCORE and I developed all the race tracks for the San Felipe area and that accounts for many trails for race tracks and access roads. The race deal is now history, but there are still many non race trails I drive at least once a week. Nothing like Moab. I have only found couple of hard core routes that I cannot deal with. Looks like it will take several Jeeps with winches.
One major trip I lead every year is the "Pole Line Road" can be done in a very long day and is 100 miles between fill ups. One long day with no breakdowns. The guys that drive it from the states take 3 days+ with a more leisurely drive when out in the boon docks. They drive around 130 miles between fill ups. If I join them this year I will drive 207 miles between fill ups, assuming no detours. Works for me because I now have the big Safari tank. I am planning 4 days. Total miles are greater, but are back on the highways for fueling. Either trip I figure about 50 miles in 4low mainly due to driving in sand washes and only a few steep climbs on old roads.
Baja is great come and try it.
