Four down, one to go. Previous owner painted the rings copper, so I had to strip them to paint them black again. Who knew mounting tires on beadlocks was this much fun...
Almost time to get the truss and gears installed

Today I'm installing the new tires so I can take the Jeep to get the gears done on Friday, back went well, but I'm having problems with the front. The caliper is rubbing the edge of the center part of the wheel, I'm at a loss since the wheels came off another JK.
I'm thinking about buying a pair of disc brake wheel spacers as a temporary solution so I'm able to drive to the shop while I find a more permanent solution (big brake kit).
Red dot is where it rubs

I only see one tire installed .... lets see the whole Jeep! Those wheels and tires look good. Maybe one day I'll afford a set of bead lock wheels but that would require me to stop spending money on mountain bikes or buying dirt bikes like I just did 😱 lol.

No, everything was nice and tight. I went ahead and clearanced the calipers, it will do for now while I get the BBK. I got at least four layers of blue tape between the wheel and the caliper, should be enough.

Finally done, I must have taken the front wheels on and off at least 10 times each to measure for clearance, I swear every time I did they gained about five pounds.
