'05 Rubicon Unlimited.

..... All the underhood AND behind glove box fuses are good.
Yes, even #17 in PDC under hood.....

My 12 volt power outlet (not the switched cigar lighter) quit working after my plug-in air compressor plug broke inside it. Too hot? Too much force to remove it ? I really don't know. Just broke.... I removed all the debris but the outlet no longer works.
Switched cigar lighter works just fine.

Anyway...... Can't seem to recall where the power for the power outlet comes from .....
It's not switched with the ignition like the cigar lighter..... It supposed to have constant power.
Would like to get it working again.

Anyone have a wiring diagram or knowledge of where this thing gets power from?

Maybe the ground as well????

Does this look normal? Not sure if I removed something in the broken plug removal process?????

Center portion does not have power..... like the cigar lighter (when switched on).0930191907_1569885569877.jpg

If you have a volt meter you can check from hot of one to ground of the other, and vice versa, to determine where the problem may be.

I no longer have mine, so I can't comment on the visual difference between the two, although I would expect them to be the same/similar.

I'm sure it's a positive feed issue as I used a test light grounded to a bolt behind the glove box. Hot side of cigar lighter lights up but the power plug doesn't using the same ground.
