Banks Turbo

Did Banks discontinue their turbo kit for TJ/LJ? They only have the intercooler upgrade listed and that is even "not available". Bummer.

It looks like it to me, but I would be sure to ask them.

Oh, I did order one, then they disappeared from stock.

Not sure if I like that for long term parts support. A V8 may of been the better long term choice.

Yeah, weird...my original search brought up a different looking Banks website. I'm happy again. For some reason looking at jeep parts and tools brings me as much or more happiness as my wife looking at pictures of cute kittens and puppies.

Good to know itís back online for sale.

I think a V8 would of been easier to install and update all the other parts. Iíve yet to finish my project, but basically rebuilding the entire Jeep and the turbo is just one factor in the plan.

In the small print, under Features - it says "For Race Applications only" - this is only for the '03 and '04 models !! They were having some trouble with CARB emissions. The turbo kit for the '05 and '06 does not have that warning and says "Emissions compliant: CARB EO D-161-97"

I would definitely call them if you have an '03 or '04 !!
