YAAHOO RUBI - A Couple of Small Projects

I did a couple of small projects on the YAAHOO RUBI this weekend.

1. installed an old ammo box that I had in the garage under the hood on the drivers side. It makes a nice permanent home for my tow strap, tree saver, two U-Joints and a mini can of WD40.

2. Cleaned up and repainted my back bumper. The first owner installed a trailer hitch sleeve facing up. I never figured out what it was for so I cut it off, did some grinding and painted it.

I had two but only one was the right height to clear the hood.
Also had to install at an angle and back some to clear the hood.
My first location is where you see the two holes near the window washer tub.
The front outside corner made contact and held the hood about 1/8" above the rubber bumper.

Where are you in the hill country John?
My dad and mom lived in Leakey for 20+ years.

We're in the Kerrville area, Leakey is south of us. That's flat land down there .

I like the ammo box idea you did. I was going to try that, my 03 had something in the way, slid mine sideways under driver seat (lo-tech)
